NowPlayingUtah is an initiative of the Utah Arts & Cultural Coalition (UACC). Development is guided by our Board of Directors, our staff and the greater Utah arts and cultural community. Our partners include constituents, recipients and members of the Utah Division of Arts & Museums, Salt Lake County Zoo Arts & Parks Program and Visit Salt Lake.
How It Started
Free Night of Theater is a national program, originally created by Theater Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for the American Theatre.
Free Night of Theater is currently supported by the LA Stage Alliance, which has been empowering artists and engaging audiences since 1975.

Explore the landscape of performing arts in Utah!
Between September 15th and September 24th, the lottery will be open and you can enter to win tickets. Entering is easy!
Just click ENTER TO WIN TICKETS at the top of the screen. You'll create a profile, and then see all the performances that Utah arts organizations have made available to Free Night patrons. Select the top five performances that you'd like to see, and enter to win as many as three pairs of tickets!
When choosing the performances you'd like to win tickets to, please keep in mind that your chances of winning will increase if you choose theaters you've never attended.
You can return to edit your entry at any time (and see if more performances have been offered!). On September 24th, all entries will be finalized, and the drawing will begin. By September 28th, you will receive an email letting you know if you've won the tickets! It's that easy! (Even if you don't win the tickets, most arts organizations will contact you to make you other offers as Free Night Patrons - so you can't lose!)
Please note: Free Night is intended to give audiences an opportunity to experience new arts organizations - so please select five performances with companies who you haven't visited in the past year. There are plenty to choose from!
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter to win tickets through Free Night.
